作为漫威漫画公司齐名的漫画巨头，DC推出近几年罕见的以女性角色为主角的超级英雄电影。影片在主题上，虽然是个正义对抗邪恶的故事，但是没有做DC黑暗化处理，从人类是否值得被拯救出发，再归于用爱战胜一切的普适主题，让影片有了些DC不常有的面貌。
