Natural killer cells (NKs) play an important role in host anti-tumor, viral, microbial infections and bone marrow transplantation and graft versus host reactions. It has been reported that NK activity is significantly reduced in patients with lichen planus (LP). This article further examined NK activity in patients with LP and increased interleukin 2 (IL 2) activity, and discussed changes in NK activity in patients with LP.
