Modern intelligent traffic control systems can monitor vehicle traffic, control traffic light changes and response times, but take less into account the needs of pedestrians, particularly those with special age groups such as those who are sick and wounded, requiring more time to travel than ordinary people. Fingerprinting or ID card recognition using two methods to identify special populations, and triggering traffic control signals, so that pedestrians access time automatically longer. The circuit design and simulation are carried out by using the Quartus II EDA software. Real-time traffic monitoring signals and special crowd recognition signals are designed. When the traffic is greater than the threshold, the traffic time is automatically increased. When there are special people crossing the road, pedestrian traffic is automatically increased time.
