红会一矿是靖远煤业集团有限责任公司下属的骨干矿井之一,位于甘肃省白银市平川区东22公里,海拔1800米的西戈拉滩中部,地处历史重镇打拉池以北,因红一、四方面军在会宁会师而得名。矿区距省城兰州180公里,北离宁夏银川360公里,铁路支线由包兰线狄家台接轨,经白银、长征等车站延伸到矿;公路109国道与矿区衔接,刘白高速公路距矿区20公里,交通极为便利。矿井始建于上世纪70年代初,由原红会一矿、红会五矿、红会二矿、红会三矿4对自然矿井合并而成,井田面积为12.4平方公里,地质赋存条件良好,煤层稳定,属低沼气矿井,年设计能力105万吨,80年代后期经过多次技术改造,现生产能力达220万吨以上。矿井实行矿、区、队三级管理体制,设有15个职能部室,3个直属单位,2个采区,20个队级单位,有干部职工2800余人。
