The Chinese tomb steles formed during the Western Jin period. Only a handful of new discoveties are found. The uncovering of the brick tomb stele of the Wang’s family thus has intrinsic value. The author analyzes the contents of the inscribed text, and argues that the site was under the administration of Wen County in Western Jin. The imperial mausoleums of Sima Quan and Sima Tai should be in close vicinity. The unearthing of the brick stele is an important clue to the locating of the imperial mausoleums of the Western Jin.
