云南位于喜马拉雅-特提斯构造域与滨太平洋构造域的复合部位,地质构造十分复杂,新生代火山岩浆活动激烈。特殊的地质地理条件,形成了丰富的地热资源,使云南成为我国地热资源大省。对云南地热资源的研究已有20多年的历史,然而地热资源开发利用的层次却较低,高温地热资源至今还未得到真正利用。本文通过对前人资料的综合研究,将全省地热资源按温度分为过热水-高温、中、低温和低温三种类型;按成因分为火山岩浆型、新生代盆地型和褶皱山区断裂带型,并对地热带的分布规律及地热田的成因机理进行了分析研究,描绘了全省地热资源的总貌,继而指出地热资源在工业、农业、矿业、医疗饮疗保健、旅游等事业方面广阔的开发利用前景。
