北京八达岭高速公路(马甸至昌平段,属110国道的一部分),是在原有德昌公路的基础上改扩建的。德昌路1984年建成至今,经北京市公路局、园林局、沿线区、县政府绿化部门10多年的辛勤绿化,公路两侧已形成绿带,被人们称之为通向大西北的绿色走廊。1994年经国家计委批准,北京市决定将德昌公路改扩建为高速公路。修路必然涉及绿化问题,经市政府有关部门多次研究,认为修建高速公路的同时一定要把绿化搞上去,绿化要与八达岭高速公路的地位、标准相适应,要像重视工程一样重视绿化。绿化与道路工程同步进行有位市领导在检查高速公路前期工作时强调:“这条路要有一流的质量、一流的管理、一流的绿
Beijing Badaling Expressway (Madian - Changping section, a part of 110 National Road), is based on the original road expansion and expansion of Dechang. Since its establishment in 1984, Dechang Road has been greening for more than 10 years with the afforestation departments of Beijing Highway Administration, Lands Bureau, districts along the line and county government. Green belts have formed on both sides of the road and are known as green corridors leading to the northwest . Approved by the State Planning Commission in 1994, Beijing City decided to reconstruct the Johnson Road as a freeway. Road construction will inevitably involve the issue of afforestation. Several studies by the relevant departments of the municipal government think that it is necessary to make the afforestation a success when building the expressway. Greening should be compatible with the status and standards of the Badaling Expressway and paying due attention to afforestation. Green and road engineering simultaneously A bit of city leaders in the inspection of the expressway pre-stressed: ”This road must have first-class quality, first-class management, first-class green
