广源占12号是广州市农业科学研究院采用五山丝苗作母本、广超丝苗/妙科早37作父本杂交育成的感温型籼稻新品种,2014年通过广东省农作物品种审定委员会审定。该种株型优、有效穗较多、丰产性较好、适应性较广,适宜广东省粤北以外稻作区早稻、晚稻种植。2014~2015年在广东广州、茂名、阳江、潮州等地试种示范,一般亩产在460~530 kg,2015年在广州从化区鳌头镇作晚稻种植示范10亩,实测平均亩产达606.5 kg。目前广东省水稻生产
