The machine can store 280,000 pages of Japanese patent magazines (or U.S. official bulletin), and can retrieve any one of them within 1 second. The company also developed 2110 lines of high resolution television cameras and 1055 lines of kinescope terminals that clearly show the fine drawings and characters in the patent. In order to achieve the scan mode conversion, the system is equipped with a 2.6 megabytes of electronic frame instantaneous memory. Any picture on the picture tube can be printed on a piece of paper with a laser printer.
