西方戏剧逐渐摆脱文字语言的束缚之后,呈现出仪式化、多元化和流动性的特征。近半个世纪以来,仪式、表演和戏剧三者之间的关系成为西方戏剧家和人类学家共同探索的核心问题,表演人类学、戏剧人类学和人类表演学相继诞生。表演人类学在仪式的阈限和交融中找到戏剧的结构,戏剧人类学在戏剧表演中发现人类共有的仪式性原点,而人类表演学在结合戏剧学和人类学成果的基础上吸收诸多领域的知识与方法来研究人类的表演实践、活动和行为。对以上新兴戏剧研究方法及其价值的追踪与辨析是当代戏剧研究寻求突破的重要一步。
After gradually getting rid of the shackles of the language of writing, the Western drama shows the characteristics of ritualization, pluralism and mobility. For nearly half a century, the relationship between ritual, performance and drama has become the core issue explored by Western theater artists and anthropologists. Performing anthropology, drama anthropology and human performance science have been born one after another. Anthropology of acting finds the structure of drama in the threshold and blending of rituals. Theater anthropology discovers the common ritual origin of humanity in theatrical performances, while human performance studies absorbs many fields based on the results of drama and anthropology Knowledge and methods to study human performance practices, activities and behaviors. The tracking and discrimination of the above research methods and value of the new drama is an important step in the search for breakthroughs in contemporary drama research.
