新时期,我们的社会主义文学艺术事业同经济一样,得到空前的发展与繁荣,呈现出百家争鸣、百花齐放的多元化格局。但阴柔、纤巧、细秀之风却弥漫艺坛,表现和反映时代风采、时代脉博、激奋人心的作品却不多见。这与飞速奔驰的时代车轮是不合拍的,与中华民族在改革开放大潮中所表现出的拼搏精神和阳刚气概是不相符的。时代在呼唤文学艺术家创作出更多更好的表现时代主旋律的作品来。这是艺术家们责无旁贷的光荣使命。
