1999年欧盟提出了伽利略系统,拟建立自主、独立的全球多模式卫星定位导航系统,提供覆盖全球的高精度、高可靠性的导航和定位服务。该系统具有定位精度高、抗干扰能力强、兼容性好的特点,目前已经用于公路、铁路、航空和海洋运输及徒步旅行者等方面。
In 1999, the EU put forward the Galileo system, intending to establish an autonomous and independent global multi-mode satellite positioning and navigation system to provide high-precision and high-reliability navigation and positioning services covering the whole world. The system has the advantages of high positioning accuracy, strong anti-interference ability and good compatibility. It has been used in the fields of road, rail, air and sea transport and hikers.
