小说《盲刺客》是加拿大女作家玛格丽特阿特伍德的代表作品。小说主人公艾丽丝和劳拉是一对姐妹,但故事一开篇妹妹劳拉就在车祸中死去,而姐姐艾丽斯在年老之时仍活在对死者愧疚的阴影中追述着往事。故事中的另一个故事则发生在艾丽斯自己创作的,同样名为《盲刺客》的一部小说之中。其故事发生在上世纪的二十世纪三十年代,讲述的是一个富家女和一个逃亡中的进步青年充满危险的地下恋情。而当这对恋人约会的时候,他们又想象出了发生在另一个星球上的故事。所以整部作品由这三个故事组成,故事中充斥着爱、背叛和牺牲。
The novel “Blind Assassin” is the representative work of Canadian writer Margaret Atwood. The protagonist of the novel Alice and Laura are a pair of sisters, but Laura, the story’s first sister, died in a car accident, while her sister, Alice, survives in the shadow of the guilty conscience of the dead when she was old. Another story in the story takes place in Alice’s own novel, also known as “Blind Assassin.” The story, which took place in the 1930s of the last century, tells the story of a dangerous underground affair of a rich girl and a progressive youth in flight. And when the couple dated, they imagined a story that took place on another planet. So the entire composition consists of these three stories, the story is full of love, betrayal and sacrifice.
