On the one hand, the wind power industry is gradually warming up. On the one hand, large-scale wind power curtailment has become the new normal of wind farms. In the birthplace of China’s wind power - Dabancheng, many developers of wind farms because of the wind rate was as high as 70% and become “sun project.” What are the causes of all this? Starting from Urumqi, along the Huo-Huo Expressway all the way east, across the Salt Lake, you can enter China’s first wind farm - Dabancheng electric field. Here is located in Gobi, with little shade, however, printed with GD, Huaneng, CGN logo fans clearly visible. Currently, Dabancheng has the reputation of “the largest wind farm in Asia,” with an installed capacity of 15 million kilowatts, exceeding the sum of installed wind power in other parts of Xinjiang.
