Both cardiac tamponade and pulmonary embolism are rare and serious complications of coronary intervention (PCI). Concurrent patients with these two complications are rare, and because of the conflicting treatment makes the clinical treatment quite difficult. This article reports a case of delayed cardiac tamponade combined with pulmonary embolism after PCI, analysis of its causes, and to explore effective prevention and treatment measures.
