张鹏:赵先生,您是中国著名的女油画家,又是一位学生们十分爱戴的师长,大家很想了解您近年的创作与生活情况。 赵友萍:感谢大家对我的关心,目前我仍按原计划进行研究。一个是对色彩问题的研究,我和李天祥合著了《色彩美》一书,去年已出版发行。另一个是对“虚象画”的研究,作为中国画家我学的却是西方油画,与其它的东方画家存在着一个共同问题,即如何民族化的问题。我体会有两点很重要。一是学习西方油画的精华。一是与中国传统中优秀的文化相融合。五十年代这个问题已在我国美术界提出了。不少画家在这方面作过许多有益的探索,如董希文先生创作的《开国大典》得到一致的好评。当时我与李天祥也做了不少尝试。我们希望创造一种既为中国群众乐于接受又不失油画特色的方法,考虑到中国百姓对大明大暗对比的表现手法不易接受就参考了中国年画中的某些优点,创造了“平光不平涂”的

Zhao Youping: Thank you for all my concern, I still study according to the original plan.
