从历史的经验看,台湾海峡一有风吹草动,美国就会出动第七舰队。1950年6月,海南岛、舟山等台湾外围屏障已被大陆解放,我军正整军备战,积极准备渡海攻台之时,美国以朝鲜战争的爆发为借口,直接出兵台湾。当年6月27日,杜鲁门发表声明,宣布美国派第七舰队驶向台湾海峡,企图阻止我军解放台湾。正由于美国插手,台湾问题始终没有得到根本性解决。 第七舰队成立于1943年3月15日,其前身是一支地地道道的杂牌部队——麦克阿瑟领导下的西南太平洋海军部队,是当前美国海军最大的前沿部署舰队。目前,第七舰队总兵力达6万人,包括38000名美国海军和22000名美国海军陆战队员。其主要装备有近60艘舰船及350架战机(主要舰载飞机为F/A-18战斗机)。其中常驻舰只19艘,总排水量约20万吨。 第七舰队直接辖美军太平洋总部指挥,其司令部设在日本
