为使提升钢丝绳整齐地排列在卷筒上,减少相互磨擦,延长使用寿命,需将提升机卷筒杉木加工成槽。我矿加工杉木槽一直是用车床加工,效率低,质量差。1974年第三季度,由于时间短,检修任务重,大家敢想敢干,大胆革新,创造了用铣削加工卷筒杉木槽的方法,效率提高一倍以上,节省了木材,促进了生产。使用与结构(见图) 刀架部分9安装在事先固定好的木架上,刀架上面带有电机8直接带动铣刀,刀架丝杠通过轮、链由提升机主轴带动,三台减速机串在一起,速比达1:6000,铣刀转速为2900转/分。
