International Aviation Telecommunications Group (SITA) introduced its next-generation passenger service system (PSS), Horizon, at the Air Transport IT Summit in Brussels a few days ago. SITA is currently the only major provider to conceive and create end-to-end passenger systems on the third generation platform. With the increasing usage of cell phones and a variety of new devices, the current technology landscape is changing and airlines need to be flexible in their approach through any channel - both current and future.
