Chronic arsenic poisoning is a geochemical disease that can cause skin damage, cardiovascular disease, immune damage, diabetes and cancer, but the mechanism of arsenic toxicity is not yet clear. Metabolomics is an integral part of systems biology. It aims to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of all metabolites in organisms (mostly small molecules with molecular weights less than 1,000), to understand the changes of endogenous and exogenous substances in organisms And the law. Metabolomics studies the relationship between biological metabolism and phenotypic and biological function changes from a microscopic point of view, and plays an important role in studying physiological status, finding biomarkers and diagnosing diseases. This review summarizes the effects of arsenic exposure on citric acid and choline circulation and the metabolism of amino acids and fatty acids using metabolomics techniques.
