曹聚仁回到台湾,向蒋介石当面汇报与大陆会谈的情况,介绍了中共方面的条件,然后逐条讨论、商谈,蒋氏父子也不断提出自己的意见。经过几次讨论,很快达成六项共识。其主要内容为:蒋介石携旧部回到大陆,蒋经国任台湾省长。从上世纪50年代到70年代,国共两党曾经有过三次高规格的秘密和谈,但是,因各种各样的原因使三次和谈都没有结果,但这段秘史,成为两岸关系破冰的前奏。
Cao Ju-ren returned to Taiwan and briefed Chiang Kai-shek personally on the talks with the Mainland. He introduced the conditions of the CPC and discussed and negotiated one by one. Chiang’s father and son continued to express their opinions. After several discussions, six consensuses were soon reached. Its main contents are as follows: Chiang Kai-shek returned to the mainland with the old department and Chiang Ching-kuo served as governor of Taiwan. From the 1950s to the 1970s, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party held three high-profile secret talks. However, the three peace talks failed because of various reasons.
