The effect of vegetable sandwiches and tofu on preventing heart disease does not seem to be so obvious. A committee of the American Heart Research Society evaluated 10 years of studies on the effects of soybeans. The results obtained were comparable to the original ones, namely, the consumption of soy products or food supplemented with soy ingredients.
