英语教师的在职培训是提高英语教师素质、塑造新型英语教师的主要途径。但是目前的在职培训状况不容乐观,大多数的培训收效甚微,存在着培训方式与现代教育观念相背离、忽视受训教师已有的教育背景和其成人学习特点等问题。建议以人本主义的教育思想和建构主义理论为基础,对教师的在职培训进行改革,以教师的自我提高和自我实现为中心,运用多样的培训方式和突出参与性、合作性和体验性的方法,帮助教师学习和内化科学的、新的教育理念;培养和提升他们的自主意识和反思意识;鼓励他们积极探索,提高专业技能、实践技能和自身的综合素质,促进教师进一步全面发展,为教师的专业发展和个人自我实现创造条件。
On-the-job training of English teachers is to improve the quality of English teachers, the main way to create a new type of English teachers. However, the present status of on-the-job training is not optimistic. Most of the trainings have little effect. There is a gap between the training methods and the concepts of modern education and neglect of the trainees’ educational background and characteristics of adult learning. It is suggested to reform teachers ’on-the-job training on the basis of humanistic educational thoughts and constructivist theories, with teachers’ self-improvement and self-actualization as the center, using various training methods and highlighting participatory, cooperative and experiential Methods to help teachers learn and internalize scientific and new educational concepts; to cultivate and enhance their awareness of self-awareness and reflection; to encourage them to actively explore and improve their professional skills, practical skills and overall quality of their own to promote the further development of teachers, To create conditions for the professional development of teachers and individual self-realization.
