对于方凤富70岁开始花鸟画变法,形成了两种截然不同的倾向和看法:圈内画家们更看重他在工笔花鸟画上达到炉火纯青的技法,艺术批评家更看重他的“70变法”。方凤富本人则认为,他自己此前的画法既不是单纯的工笔,也不是简单意义上的大写意,而是兼工带写的花鸟画艺术取向。有鉴于此,画家才为他的70岁开始起步变法奠定了应有的信心和坚实的地基。
There are two distinct tendencies and attitudes toward Fang Fengfu’s 70-year-old flower and bird painting changes: the painters in the circle pay more attention to his consummate techniques in art and flower painting, and art critics pay more attention to his “70” . Fang Fenghuang himself thinks that his own previous painting method is neither a mere art style nor a big freehand meaning in the simple sense, but rather a flower-and-bird painting art orientation written by both workers and workers. In view of this, the painter laid the due confidence and solid foundation for the beginning of his 70-year-old reform.
