八节黄蓟马Thrips flavidulus(Bagnall)原名黄带蓟马Taeniothrips flavidulus(Ba-gnall),因其腹部背面第五至八节两侧有微梳,具备比较稳定的蓟马属的特征,故从带蓟马属(Taeniothrips)移入蓟马属(Thrips),中名改称八节黄蓟马。 据有关文献记载,八节黄蓟马在我国南方果园内为害柑桔、桃、柿、香蕉等。在西藏,尚属首次记录。1979、1980两年,在樟木口岸对苹果造成严重为害,使亩产万斤以上的果园几乎绝收;同时,在青稞、小麦、葱、马铃薯等作物上亦采到大量标本,无疑对上述作物亦可造成一定为害。
