小说的艺术形式包含文体技巧和叙述技巧两个不同的层面,文体技巧属于文体学研究的范畴,叙述技巧属于叙事学的研究范畴。文体学偏重作品的语言技巧,对作品的结构技巧不予考虑,因而不能对作品进行全局性的阐释;叙事学聚焦结构技巧,忽略作品的遣词造句,缺乏对作品的细节分析。文体学和叙事学在关注面上都有明显的局限性,而两者的结合则可将对文学作品的分析提升到一个较为全面而深入的高度。本文一方面从文体学的角度对欧·亨利的小说“寻宝记”进行具体的语言特征分析,挖掘其深层象征意义,另一方面,应用叙事学“隐含作者”的概念来探讨作品中真实作者和隐含作者之间的微妙关系,通过两者相结合,以更全面地阐释和把握作品的意义。
The art form of fiction contains two different levels of stylistic skills and narrative skills. Stylistic techniques belong to the category of stylistic studies, narrative techniques belong to the category of narratology. Stylistics focuses on the language skills of works and does not consider the structural skills of the works. Therefore, it can not explain the works in a holistic way. Narratology focuses on the structural skills and neglects the work of the author to create sentences, thus lacking the detailed analysis of the works. Stylistics and narratology have obvious limitations on the concerned aspects, and the combination of the two can elevate the analysis of literary works to a more comprehensive and in-depth perspective. On the one hand, this article analyzes the specific linguistic features of the novel Henry Hussein’s Treasure Hunt from the perspective of stylistics to explore its deep symbolic meaning. On the other hand, the concept of narratology "implied author Explore the subtle relationship between the real author and the implied author in the work, through the combination of the two, in order to more fully explain and grasp the meaning of the work.
