目的探讨基质金属蛋白酶子(MMP3)与基质金属蛋白酶抑制因子(TIMP2)蛋白在宫颈癌组织中表达、相互关系及意义。方法采用免疫组化学S-P法检测46例宫颈癌、20例宫颈上皮内瘤变(CIN)和10例宫颈良性病变上皮组织中MMP3及TIMP2的表达情况。结果宫颈癌组织中MMP3表达水平高于CIN及宫颈良性病变上皮(P<0.05),而TIMP2蛋白表达水平低于CIN及宫颈良性病变上皮(P<0.05);MMP3的阳性表达率与宫颈癌分化程度、淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05),与患者年龄、组织类型及临床分期无关(P>0.05);TIMP2的阳性表达率与宫颈癌分化程度及淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05),与患者年龄、组织类型、临床分期无关(P>0.05);结论MMP3与TIMP2的表达程度与宫颈癌的发生发展密切相关,二者的比例失衡可能与宫颈癌的临床分期有关系。
Objective To investigate the expression, correlation and significance of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP3) and matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor (TIMP2) in cervical cancer. Methods The expressions of MMP3 and TIMP2 in epithelial tissues of 46 cases of cervical cancer, 20 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and 10 cases of benign cervical lesions were detected by immunohistochemical S-P method. Results The expression of MMP3 in cervical cancer was higher than that in CIN and cervical benign lesions (P <0.05), while the expression of TIMP2 was lower than that in CIN and cervical benign lesions (P <0.05) (P <0.05). The positive expression rate of TIMP2 was not related with the age, type and clinical stages of patients (P> 0.05). The positive rate of TIMP2 was correlated with the differentiation degree of cervical cancer and lymph node metastasis (P <0.05) (P> 0.05) .Conclusion The expression of MMP3 and TIMP2 is closely related to the occurrence and development of cervical cancer. The imbalance between the two may be related to the clinical stage of cervical cancer.
