江苏沛县栖山一号石椁墓,中椁东壁画像中有戴胜扶几端坐的西王母形象。刘辉《沛县栖山石椁墓中的“西王母”画像管见》一文认为,所谓的“西王母”应为女墓主。我们认为此观点值得商榷,因为作者并未明了西王母与女墓主的辨识问题。西王母图像志的主要标志是戴胜、玉兔(捣药)、蟾蜍、三足乌和九尾狐等。这些均为西王母图像系统中比较普遍和相对稳定的附属物像。

We think this point of view is questionable because the author does not understand the identification of Queen Mother and Queen Mother. The main symbols of the image of Queen Mother of the West are ashes, jade rabbits (tokens), toads, three-legged wu and nine-foxes. These are the more common and relatively stable appendages in the image system of the Queen Mother.
