[World Nuclear News website reported on November 3, 2009] Two Canadian Bruce A nuclear power plants that have been out of operation for more than 10 years have been approved by regulators for refueling and will be restarted in 2011. In the meantime, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) announced the grant of a license to operate the Bruce A and B nuclear plants for a further five years.
