Bisphenol A (BPA) is a type of environmental estrogen which is exposed to a large amount of people’s production and life. It has weak estrogen activity and strong androgen activity, and has certain influence on the reproductive system. In recent years, research on the influence of BPA on the reproductive system of female animals has become a hot spot. BPA on the reproductive system of female animals have a significant role in the development and function of interference can cause uterine, vaginal, ovarian, breast and other morphological and functional changes. Maternal exposure to BPA during the perinatal period also affects the normal development of the offspring reproductive system. The mechanism by which BPA affects the female reproductive system is diverse and may play its role in several ways: the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis, estrogen nuclear receptors, estrogen receptor, estrogen-related receptors and epigenetic modifications.
