中国工人运动的杰出领袖,中共三大中央委员——朱少连,1887年3月20日(清光绪13年丁亥2月16日)出生于衡阳县曲兰镇湘西村一个贫苦的农民家庭。朱少连早年投身中国工人运动,1922年2月入党,1929年1月8日英勇牺牲。他的光辉事迹,在血染的党旗上永远闪光。朱少连从小聪颖过人,朱族长辈企望培养这棵好苗子,日后成材支撑朱氏门庭,他们一起议定从族里公田中提出部分租谷,资助他于1904年进入衡阳城里一所中学读书,朱少连不负众望,中学毕业后,又考入了湖北铁路学校。
The Outstanding Leader of the Chinese Workers’ Movement, Zhu Shaolian, the Three Central Committee Members of the Communist Party of China, was born on March 20, 1887 in Dingxiang, Hengyang County, on January 16, a poor peasant family in Xiangxi Village, Qu Lan Town. In the early years, Zhu Shaolian joined the Chinese Workers’ Movement, joining the party in February 1922 and sacrificed heroically on January 8, 1929. His glorious deeds flash forever on the bloody party flag.
