靶机是一种主要的航空靶标,是一种有升力面、有动力、可依靠自动驾驶仪和无线电系统作机动飞行的无人机。它可以模拟目标飞机的各种特性,如几何外形、飞行性能、红外雷达特征等,并随目标飞机性能的不断发展而提高。我国航空靶机的发展走过了一条自力更生的道路。迄今,我国已初步建成几个研制基地,培养了一支技术力量雄厚、经验丰富的专业技术队伍,研制成功了一系列性能优良、价格低廉的适用产品。其中大型高速靶机有“长空一号”和“靶五乙”。“长空一号”靶机又有中高空型、低空型、高机动型和超低空型,在性能上形成系列,具有可调装的雷达/红外目标模拟特性,年生产能力达数十架。“靶五乙”是用“米格”-15比斯歼击机研制改装的实体靶机。小型耙机有B-1(01型)、B-1(改)(“改1”型)、B-2(BJ7104)等机型。这几种靶机都具有完善的无线电遥控与遥测系统,可由火箭助推起飞和降落伞回收。近些年,我国又改进研制了“爱生”系列小型靶机,飞行性能有明显提高,电子设备实现了集成化和计算机化,整机自动化程度提高,控制功能大为增强。这类小型靶机都是低速靶机,采用活塞螺桨式发动机。80年代,我国还研制成功了Z-1、Z-2两种小型遥控直升机靶机,提供部队使用。靶机使用可靠,维护方便,成本低廉,现已大量装备部队并有少量出口。靶机专用的特种设备,如脱靶量指示器、雷达回波增强器、红外增强器、曳光管、拉烟管、激光合作目标等均已配套,先进的地面跟踪系统、光电测量系统、综合指挥系统等也已装备靶场,基本可满足各种靶试需要。
