The Technical Committee of the Future of Broadcast TV initiative(FOBTV)initiated the Global Model EditorialGroup(TC-GMEG)to provide an overview of an end-to-end delivery system allowing the implementation of all the collecteduse-cases.This TC-GMEG report is accordingly organized into five sections:1)A Starting End-to-End Model for Reasoning,2)Trends in the Multi-Media Value Chain,3)Contours of a LOCAL End-to-End Model,4)Globalization of the Local Model,5)Beyond the Global Model.This report also proposed the Smart Broadcast concept which is intended to generalize the usageof hybrid platforms along the Multi-Media Value Chain and moves from“blind”delivery to the“managed”delivery.
