世界级管理大师、哈佛商学院访问教授赫尔曼·西蒙历经十多年的积累和研究,向全球发布了“隐形冠军”这一概念。他说,历数全球最优秀企业,在可口可乐、微软等超级航母之外,更大量的是一些默默无闻的行业冠军企业。在许多细分领域中,这些企业在全球范围或某一区域占领了其所属市场50%的份额甚至更多;尤其突出的是,他们无论是在经营水准、产品技术和创新能力丝毫不弱于世界500强企业,甚至在某些方面独树一帜,建立了大企业无法奢求的竞争优势。
