江淮银行成立于1941年4月1日,是华中抗日根据地苏中行署区的地方性银行,直属新四军军部领导。后为适应“反扫荡”斗争的需要,江淮银行改归苏中行署领导。江淮银行1942年发行江淮银行纸币,该纸币成为苏中解放区的本位币。另外江淮银行还发行过有加印“苏中”“盐阜”“苏浙”地名的纸币以便分区使用。1945年8月,随着革命形势的发展,根据地不断扩大,江淮银行与盐阜银行、大江银行等根据地银行一并归入华中
Jianghuai Bank was established on April 1, 1941. It is a local bank under the Central Government Anti-Japanese Base Area and directly under the leadership of the New Fourth Army.
