1980年3月,阎金铸同志在山西吉县东城乡西村清水河畔柿子滩,发现一处中石器时代文化遗址。同年4至8月,由临汾行署文化局主持,与有关单位作进一步调查,并做了局部试掘。试掘面积100平方米,获得一批重要文化遗物及一些动物化石。本文就是对这批遗物的初步观察与研究。一地层概况与动物化石山西省吉县,地处吕梁山南端,县境中以石头山、范家山、高天山、君帝岭一线为分水岭,东麓水系流向汾河,西麓流入黄河。整个地域山峦重叠,群峰竞起,山间沉积中更新世红色土,形成典型的山间黄土塬、梁、峁地貌。柿子滩遗址,位于吉县城关西南30公里的清水河畔,西距黄河2公里。清水河发源于吉县东部高天山,向西北至川庄乡折向西南,沿高祖山与火炎山之间谷地流贯吉县全境注入黄河。流域地区的黄土梁峁和高塬地形被清水河切割为河谷。柿子滩遗址为清水河阶地堆积,
In March 1980, Comrade Yan Jinzhu discovered a Mesolithic cultural site in Persimmon Beach, Qingshui River, Xicun, Dongcheng Township, Jixian County, Shanxi Province. From April to August of the same year, chaired by the Culture Bureau of Linfen Administration, further investigation was conducted with the relevant units and local excavations were conducted. Test excavation area of 100 square meters, access to a number of important cultural relics and some animal fossils. This article is a preliminary observation and research on these relics. Persimmon Beach site, located in Ji County, 30 kilometers southwest of the Shimizu River, 2 kilometers west of the Yellow River. The Qingshui River originates from the high Tianshan Mountains in the eastern part of Ji County and turns to the southwest in the northwest to Chuanzhuang Township. It injects into the Yellow River along the valley of Guanzhu County between the Gaozu Mountain and Huoyan Mountain.
