本文所报道的古代人骨材料出土于吉林省九台市西营城镇关马山村附近山梁上的古代石棺墓,墓葬年代大致为战国时期。1989年夏季,吉林省文物考古研究所对该墓葬进行了清理,共采集到可供进行人种学观察和测量的古代人类头骨标本18例(编号NO.1—No.18),其中有10例属男性个体(编号No.1—No.10),其余8例为女性个体(编号No.11—No.18)。上述标本的年龄均系成年(18—50岁)。此外,在该墓葬中尚收集到5例成年下颌骨标本,由于该石棺墓在葬俗上属迁葬墓,颅骨与下颌骨的搭配关系早已散
The ancient bone material reported in this article was excavated from an ancient sarcophagus tomb located on the mountain beam near the Kuan Ma mountain village in Xiyi Town, Jiutai City, Jilin Province. The tomb was roughly the Warring States Period. In the summer of 1989, Jilin Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology cleaned up the tombs and collected 18 ancient human skull specimens (numbered NO.1-No.18) for ethnographic observation and measurement, of which 10 Cases of male individuals (No. No.1-No.10), the remaining eight cases of female individuals (No. 11-No.18). The above specimens are of adult age (18-50 years). In addition, in the tombs were still collected 5 cases of adult mandibular specimens, as the sarcophagus in the funeral on the burial mound, skull and mandible with the relationship has long been scattered
