This article argues from two aspects of ideological foundation and practice, and analyzes the elements and background of the formation of “craftsman ” furniture design style. It is pointed out that Stuckley pays attention to the practical needs of consumers, pays more attention to practicality and emphasizes the promotion of a new lifestyle instead of art or personal expression through products, which provides the ideological foundation for the practice of “craftsman” style.
