50年代初,新中国刚建立不久,在发展油画艺术方面曾经作出两个重大举措,一是选送一批优秀学子出国去苏联留学,二是请苏联专家马克西莫夫来华讲学、办油训班。这两大举措为我国培养了一批油画艺术人材。他们学成之后大都留在各美术院校任教、肩负着承前启后、培育新人的重任。这批可称作高层次的专家群在当代中国油画史上举足轻重,其作用和影响之大,不言而喻。本文并非想就这批油画家群的功过得失以及他们的现状妄作评论,仅想就其中之一的张华清教授的油画艺术成就及其艺术走向,作一次扫描式的评介,以求教于画界朋友。
In the early 1950s, not long after the founding of New China, two major measures were taken in the development of oil painting art. One was to send a group of outstanding students to go abroad to study in the Soviet Union, and the other was to invite the Soviet expert Maximov to give lectures and oil training class. These two major measures have cultivated a batch of oil painting art talents for our country. After their studies, most of them stayed at art schools and shouldered the heavy burden of cultivating new talents. These groups of experts, which can be called high-level experts, play a decisive role in the history of contemporary Chinese oil painting. Their role and influence are obvious. This article is not intended to make any comment on the merits and demerits of these group of oil painters and their status quo.
