由湖北大学承担的“汽车内装饰新型复合支撑材料”科研项目目前通过鉴定。这种新型复合支撑材料属增强纤维板,釆用水基型树脂和长纤维网为主要原料,经浸渍、烘干、热压成型而制备,能够用作汽车顶篷、驾驶操作台等内装饰部件的支撑材料。产品性能比国内目前采用的纤维硬纸板及聚丙烯、聚氯乙烯、玻璃钢等合成树脂材料更优良,其耐水性、阻燃性、弯曲断裂负荷等主要性能指标已达到标致和雪铁龙公司B673510标准。该产品主要原料采用麻、棉杆皮、植物纤维等农副产品,来源广泛。另外,该新型材料的成本仅为目门前常用合成树脂支撑材料的一半。
