Sino-Japanese bilateral polymer synthesis and materials science symposium co-sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Japan Society of Polymer Science was held in Beijing Science Hall from October 21 to October 24, 1984. This meeting is the second Sino-Japanese joint conference on polymer science since the first Sino-Japanese Symposium on Polymer Science held in Tokyo in October 1981
