面子问题一直是语用学研究的热点。自Brown & Levinson提出礼貌理论以来,面子-礼貌研究的经典范式受到诸多追捧,但同时也饱受争议。20世纪中后期以来,国外学者开始更多地将研究重心转向于不礼貌现象。基于礼貌理论的框架,Lachenich,Austin and Culpper分别提出了各自的非礼貌论。本文意在从Browm & Levinson提出的面子理论和Spencer-Oatey提出的人际关系管理理论下的面子概念来探讨不礼貌言语行为中的面子问题,分析和对比在不同面子概念下,不礼貌现象产生的原因。
Face problem has been the hot point of pragmatics. Since Brown & Levinson’s politeness theory, the classic paradigm of face-courtesy research has been much sought after but controversial. Since the middle and late 20th century, foreign scholars began to shift their research focus more to impoliteness. Based on the politeness theory framework, Lachenich, Austin and Culpper put forward their respective politeness theories. This article intends to explore the face of impolite speech from the perspectives of face theory proposed by Browm & Levinson and the concept of face under Spencer-Oatey’s theory of interpersonal relationship management, to analyze and contrast impoliteness under different face concepts the reason.
