Professor Klaus Lehmann kind, gentle, quick thinking, rigorous scholarship. He is the Head of Industrial Design at Stuttgart’s State College of Art and Design, and his teaching is prestigious in the international industrial design community. This time, he came to our hospital to give lectures around and arranged three small unit teaching tasks. The first unit (one week) requires the student to express three conflicting actions using the morphological “language” on the basis of three uniforms (eg, three squares, three cylinders, or three hemispheres) Meaning: “Press, spin, pull.” These three usages are often encountered in daily life. In order to avoid judgments in emergency situations, how to convey accurate information to users through a certain shape design? This is a basic and extremely important practice topic. Professor Lehman requires students to exclude all non-functional “decoration” factors in the design process, so that the form strives to achieve the most simple and most simple degree.
