行动的力量——寸心网创始人的自述
The wonder of life is that you never know what would actually take place next second. Just like I turned my career from finance to charity， from in Beijig to in Hongkong， I never thought I would dedicate myself to the career full of love.
I’m a normal Peking University Student， majoring in electronics in Information Science College， with a Dual-Degree in Economy. Occasionally， I became a “half investment banker”. In the 3 years in Beijing and 1 year in Hong Kong， my investment banking life was circled by some keys words： restructuring， due diligence， road-show， models and IPO. Once around the neon of Guomao District and the skyscrapers of Middle Ring Road， I thought that’s the best life， at least close to 99% of the life which I’m satisfied with. As for what is the 1% of life， I have no time to figure it out. But in my sub-conscience， I believe I should get to make it clear if it’s a spirit， a duty or a belief.
人生最大的精彩，是你永远都不知道下一秒会发生什么。就像一年多前刚从北漂变成港漂的我，从未料及会从金融转身投入到公益领域，为每一份爱心呐喊。
我，一个再普通不过的北大人，信科04本+CCER04经双，主修电子，却偏废主业误打误撞成了“半路出家的投资银行家”。在北京的3年和香港的1年多日子里，我的投行生活围绕着几个关键词在运转：改制、尽调、路演、模型、上市。无论是在国贸的朦胧霓虹下，抑或是在中环的栉比鳞次间，曾经的我曾以为，这是生活的全部，哪怕没有100%，也接近99%。而至于那1%是什么，我没时间去想，哪怕潜意识中我觉得应该去弄清楚：是一点精神？是一份担当？还是些许信仰？
It only took me 20 minuets to figure it out what the 1% of life is. In Aug. 5th， 2012， I told my pioneering partner：
“Today I noticed a piece of news that a boy called Zhong Sen， who got cancer， decided to donate his corneas as feedback to the society. I was moved. He is only 7 years old， and his only wish is going to Harbin City…We are far better off than him that we should do something for the society. I have considered it over and over again， how about pioneering charity？”
“Let’s do it！” My dear fellow and college classmate answered. He barely talks but acts. He worked for the Internet after graduation in Beijing.
“I do industrial research and you are in charge of technical team building. Let’s meet at 6 pm tomorrow and kick it off.” I said to him excitedly. This 20-mimute phone-call kept me awake that night.
而真正弄清楚这1%，却仅用了20分钟的时间。2012年8月5日夜，我跟我的创业伙伴说：“今天我看了个新闻，一个叫小忠霖的小男孩得了绝症，他决定死后把他的眼角膜捐出来回馈社会，我觉得很感动，他才7岁，唯一的心愿就是去趟大城市哈尔滨……我们两个好歹也算衣食无忧，应该做点事情。我想了很久，决定公益创业，你怎么看？”“行，那就干吧！”他，我的老乡兼同学，话不多，行动派，同样的北大信科04本+CCER04经双，不过他做了老本行互联网，在北京。这个不到20分钟的电话，让我几乎一晚没合眼。“我做行业研究，你组技术团队，明天就开干，下午6点钟我们碰一下。”我兴奋地说。
1 day after， the first drifting working group list came out ahead before 4 pm， with project code “Project Apollo”. We have five members initially and opened our project kick-off meeting at 10：30 pm. 3 days after， our web was orientated as professional charity donation platform， serving charity organizations and people， dedicated to promote Chinese micro-charity career.
10 days after， our Web was named “Cunxin”， which means with little good-will to carry on micro-charity.
35 days after， our core team members were basically in place. Without intentionally selected， there are 6 PU people： one is the technical star in Department of Computing， one is Master of Sociology who happened to be good at designing， one is the campus superstar， and one majors in Chinese study who is also a caring volunteer and dedicated himself to charity for many years.
78 days after， the framework of Cunxin Web was completed.
113 days after， the introduction version of Cunxin Web is online， and the official micro-blog of Cunxin Web was launched.
160 days after， Cunxin Web was officially online…
Without too much mobilization， every team member volunteers to work for this goal， silently showing the power of action. When the technical team discussed by e-mails till 3 am， when the marketing team called a member in US for a self photo to add in “I’m with Cunxin” Section in Web， I was thinking that those were more than just goals， but a dream that we are exerting our effort to go after， and even our common belief.
1天后：第一稿working group list在下午4点提前出炉，项目代号“Project Apollo”，初始成员5人，晚上10点半，项目启动会召开。
3天后：网站定位确定为做专业的公益网络募捐平台，服务于公益组织和爱心人士，致力于推动中国微公益事业。
10天后：网站名称确定为“寸心”，取意于成语“聊表寸心”，寓意“微小的心意”，即微公益。
35天后：核心团队基本到位，没有故意的筛选，而北大人就占了6个：有当年计算机系的技术达人，亦有供职于四大（会计师事务所）却在设计方面颇有造诣的社会学硕士，有风云校园的人气之星，亦有潜心研读国学却已践行公益理念多年的爱心志愿者。
78天后：寸心网核心框架搭建完成。
113天后：寸心网介绍版上线，同一天，寸心官方微博启用。
160天左右：寸心网将正式上线……
没有太多的动员，团队中每一个人都在自愿地为这个目标付出，默默地彰显着行动的力量。当技术团队成员凌晨3点多还在邮件讨论，当市场团队成员给远在美国的同学打电话让她拍一张“寸心有我”的照片时，我在想，这或许不再简单是一个目标，而更是在不遗余力地追求一个梦想，乃至信仰。
A new member asked me， “What Cunxin would be like after 10 years？” The asker is a master of Charity Research College in Beijing Normal University. She knows better than me about charity.
I answered， “If in China， every life would be respected， every kindness wouldn’t be wasted and charity became part of people’s life， then Cunxin would fulfill its value.”
“Why did you give up the job in investment banking with high salary， and do charity in China where no one believes in it？” She was confused.
“Because I still believe in it！ Indeed， we are in a bad environment of charity. The total charity donation money in US is 22 times more than that in China. There is Guo Meimei Incident in China. Chinese grass-root NGOs would never get identification. But we believe the incredible power of the Internet can change every field， including charity， just like what eco-business did to the traditional retailers and Weixin to traditional communication. China has 500 million netizens， and if everyone donates 1 yuan， it would be of great help. The year 2011 was the initial year of micro-charity. You can see the “micro-blog cracking down on the abduction” by Mr. Xue Manzi， and the Free Lunch Movement by Mr. Deng Fei. The trend of national charity is surging…” Although I have said it many times to the cooperative organizations， some predecessors in finance and charity and some caring firms. I can’t help being passionate when I came up with it. 一位新进团队的成员问我：“寸心十年后会是什么样子？”我想了想，答道：“如果，在这片土地上，每一个生命都受到尊重，每一份爱心都不被挥霍，公益变成每个人生活的一部分，那么，寸心也就实现了它的价值。”她是北师大中国公益研究院的硕士，公益界的是是非非，她清楚过我。
“你为什么放着高薪的投行不做，偏偏来做公益，特别是在现在的中国，没人信这个。”她继续疑惑。
“因为我还相信！的确，我们的慈善环境很恶劣，中美两国慈善捐助总量相差22倍，中国有郭美美，中国的草根NGO根本拿不到身份，但是，我们团队对互联网还有那么一点点信仰，我们相信互联网能以其惊人的‘破坏力’改造每个行业，包括公益行业，就像电商对传统零售业的颠覆，微信对传统通信业的颠覆那样。中国有5亿网民，哪怕每人只捐1元钱。2011年是微公益元年，你看，微博上薛蛮子发起的微博打拐，邓飞发起的免费午餐，全民公益大趋势已经风起云涌……”话到此时，我已近乎亢奋。尽管这样的话，我已说了很多遍，给合作的公益组织，给一些金融界、公益界前辈，给一些爱心企业。而每一次，我都有些不能自已。
“So Cunxin is an NGO， or a non-profit organization？”
“Yes！ Cunxin is going to become ‘Taobao in charity’， and will work together with Chinese charity funds and civil charity organizations. Cunxin will never charge any money， and the management money depends on our collection and sponsorship. The light-spot of Cunxin is donation experience， transparency in fund， timely project feedback report， etc….”
Afterwards， she joined our team and became the person who is most knowledgeable about charity and has the most resources.
“所以说寸心也是一个NGO，或者说非营利组织？”
“对的，寸心要做公益界的淘宝，与中国的慈善基金会、民间公益组织一起成长。寸心不会收费，也不能收费，寸心的运营资金我们自己去筹措，去拉赞助。寸心的亮点在于捐助体验、款项公开透明、及时的项目反馈报告……”
后来，她加入了团队，成了我们团队对公益最了解也最有资源的人。
Charity can render people with positive energy， and such normal actions touch me most. I met Chairman Meng Qinglin in the party of PU HK alumni association， and she fully supports our cause and introduced us to President Qian Chaonan of PU HK Education Fund which became one of our first clients. Cunxin Web is engaged in putting the charity project of the Fund online to receive donations.
Think it through and do the best you can. Our common feature is being steady and practical. The team of Cunxin proves it by everyday action. Action is power.
“Love is never tiny！” It’s the slogan of Cunxin， made 110 days after the project.
公益是能够给人带来正能量的，而这种蕴藏在点点滴滴中的平凡却是给我最多感动的。偶然参加北大香港校友会的聚会，结识了孟春玲会长，没想到她对我们事业的支持是如此的毫无保留。后来又经孟会长引荐，我们拜访了80多岁高龄还活跃在公益第一线的香港北大助学基金会总干事岑超南学长。再后来，香港北大助学基金会成了寸心网的第一批客户，寸心网正在紧锣密鼓的准备将基金会的公益项目放到网上进行募捐。
想清楚了就做，要做就做到最好。投行人和IT人有个共性就是脚踏实地，而寸心团队正在用每一天的努力做到这一点。行动，就是力量。
“爱，从不渺小！”这是寸心的Slogan，在项目启动110天后得以确定。
Cunxin Web is professional organization dedicated to promote micro-charity in China. It was consisted by a group of professionals who has worked in finance and IT for 3-5 years. It locates in Beijing and Hong Kong. Once， enterprises IPO and writing codes were their whole lives. After touched by the eager eyes and innocent smile of the people who needs help， they can never be clam. Afterwards Cunxin Web is established. Now Cunxin has established the cooperative relationship with close to 10 charity fund and NGOs and launched 3 charity donation projects online in Feb 28th， practicing charity with actions.
寸心网是致力于推动中国微公益事业的专业机构。它由一群在金融和互联网行业拥有3-5年工作经验的专业人士组成，团队分布于中国北京和香港。曾经，帮助企业IPO和编程写代码就是他们生活的全部。一次很偶然的机会，他们接触到了公益，被那一眸渴望的眼神和一弯无暇的笑脸所触动，从此不再安分。后来，寸心网成立了。目前，寸心已与近10个慈善基金会和NGO建立了合作关系，并于2月28日上线第一批3个公益募捐项目，以实际行动践行公益理念。
