Since the State Council promulgated the “Chinese name scheme of unified measurement unit of metric system”, all localities have carried out the plan. In the name of the retained municipal system with “points” “PCT” “milli” as the unit of the word, in the name of the unified metric units “cent” “PCT” “milli” as a positioning article. Some comrades find it easy to confuse the two. Some have also proposed reconsidering the names of metric units of measurement to suit the names of the municipal units reserved for them. In order to clarify this issue and to better implement the plan promulgated by the State Council, this magazine publishes the letter from Comrade Kang Cheng Comrade Kangxi to readers for reference.
