实行对外开放是中国30年改革开放的重要组成部分,也是中国经济发展的助推器。西方发展经济学认为“对外贸易是经济增长的发动机”。中国改革开放的总设计师邓小平同志关于对外开放的一系列论述,为我国对外开放指明了方向,并在实践中日益向广度和深度扩展。党的十六大以来,在坚持对外开放的同时又加快了经济结构的调整和产业升级,促进国内企业成长壮大且具备较强的国际竞争能力。
Opening up to the outside world is an important part of China’s 30-year reform and opening up as well as a booster for China’s economic development. Western development economics believes that “foreign trade is the engine of economic growth.” Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China’s reform and opening up, made a series of expositions on opening up to the outside world, pointing out the direction for China’s opening to the outside world and expanding its breadth and depth in practice. Since the 16th CPC National Congress, while adhering to the principle of opening to the outside world, we have also accelerated the readjustment of the economic structure and industrial upgrading so as to promote the growth of domestic enterprises and their strong international competitiveness.
