本文从对话的角度审视学术语篇作者如何利用介入资源构建对话空间,以实现与读者结盟的写作动机。分析结果表明,在英语专业硕士学位论文的结论部分,作者基本能够根据学术社团规约使用对话策略,通过收缩资源与扩展资源的互补性配置构建语篇人际意义。具体来讲,作者主要运用背书、反对和否认等收缩资源压缩对话空间,以较高的人际代价提出观点,强调命题的可靠性;同时作者还借助于接纳和承认等扩展资源扩大对话空间,承认其他观点存在,从而营造友好的对话氛围。本文对学术英语写作教学具有一定的指导意义,认为过多使用收缩资源会使语篇的语气略显生硬,因此,对话修辞策略的应用能力的培养、提高需要得到更多重视。
This essay examines how academic discourse authors use intervening resources to construct a dialogue space from the perspective of dialogue in order to achieve motivation for writing alliances with readers. The analysis results show that in the conclusion part of English Master’s thesis, the author can basically use the dialogue strategy according to the academic community statute, and build the interpersonal meaning of the discourse through the complementary configuration of contracting resources and extending resources. Specifically, the author mainly uses the endorsement, opposition and denial to reduce resources such as contracting the space of dialogue, and puts forward the viewpoints with higher interpersonal costs to emphasize the reliability of propositions. At the same time, the author expands the space for dialogue through the expansion of resources such as acceptance and recognition, Other perspectives exist to create a friendly atmosphere for dialogue. This article is of guiding significance to academic English writing teaching. It is believed that excessive use of contracted resources will make the tone of the discourse slightly blunt. Therefore, the cultivation of and improvement in the application of rhetorical strategies should be given more attention.
