目前,技校数学教学的开办,不仅仅在于让学生取得一定的生产技术以及相关的理论基础,同时,也要顺应时代的发展趋势,根据各个专业的不同要求,进行不同的教学内容,选择不同的教学手段,从而来培养提高学生分析问题和解决问题时方式和方法。然而,现实却是,技校学生对数学缺乏热情,没有兴趣,一是因为技校学生的数学根基差,老师也不太重视,二是,技校学生没有数学竞争压力,没有在升学等方面的重要压力,这让技校学生在对数学的了解和认知方面产生了很大的偏差,让数学地位一落千丈。
