中国汽车市场的暴利可以说是已经到了令人瞠目结舌的程度,比如说售价36万元人民币的别克,在美国市场的价格折合人民币也就10几万元,而售价29万的本田雅阁,国内单车利润高达16万元。与国外汽车市场6%的利润率相比,中国汽车的利润率至少也在60%以上。 这种凝固了很长一个时期的居高不下的汽车价格,终于在2003年年初被广州本田打破了。在广州本田将新款雅阁的价格下调近5万元后,上海通用也将新上市的君威价格定在了与雅阁不相上下的水平。雅阁这一手,给了即将下线的一汽马自达M6和正在热销的上海大众帕萨特出了个大难题,前者本想趁新车上市的机会通过高价狠赚一笔,但没有料到本田新雅阁会定出如此低的价格,匆忙之下,演出了一场新车上市却没有定价的闹剧;至于帕萨特,在新雅阁的价格冲击下也由热销变成了滞销。可以料想,2003年的中国汽车市场,将是价格急剧动荡的一年。
