报道了一种聚丙烯腈(PAN)的改性方法,即在惰性气体保护下,对PAN的二甲基亚砜(DMSO)溶液进行热处理。红外光谱和紫外-可见光谱测试结果表明,热处理可以引发PAN的环化。同未处理样品相比,处理过的PAN在预氧化过程中释放出更少的热量,热稳定性也有了明显的提升,更适合用于碳纤维的制造。
A method for the modification of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) is reported, in which a PAN dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) solution is heat treated under inert gas. Infrared spectroscopy and UV-visible spectroscopy test results show that the heat treatment can trigger PAN cyclization. Compared with the untreated sample, the treated PAN released less heat during the pre-oxidation process, and the thermal stability was significantly improved, making it more suitable for carbon fiber manufacturing.
